I could subtitle this abstract doodle “My Mind At Rest.” It’s a state of mind I experience when I am working on my 1,000-piece picture puzzles. My mind is never blank, but this is about as close as it gets.😆

I have almost total aphantasia so visually, aurally, and emotionally my mind is always blank.

Wow, I can’t imagine that! In this case we are exact opposites, aren’t we Barry.

I don’t think opposite so much as different. My mind is busy most of the time but it’s devoid of words, images, sounds, – any of the senses in fact – It’s hard to explain to those who have more typical thought processes. Being autistic and having alexithymia (Emotional blindness), aphantasia (mind blindness), prosopagnosia (lack of time perception) and anendophasia (having no inner voice or internal monologue). might be why my mind is so busy. After all if I am to communicate with others I need to do a lot of processing to make that communication meaningful to me and them.
